How Splice Works

Studio

Splice includes a downloadable client application, which integrates with your existing tools (Ableton Live 8 and 9, FL Studio, Logic Pro X, and GarageBand) and workflow to automatically sync your work with the cloud. Add collaborators in Studio to get notified of changes, see who’s working on what, and experience a seamless workflow with our project timeline. Because Splice automatically tracks every individual collaborator’s contributions to a project, multiple producers can work on same project, on their own terms and their own time.

Community

Share your projects with other users for feedback, find collaborators, and participate in ongoing contests. Filter projects by genre or DAW and get a rich, insightful window into how a project is constructed with the Splice “DNA Player.” Our Community feature allows you to get meaningful feedback from your fans and peers about works-in-progress, and to download the projects of other producers to dive deeper into another artist’s creative process.

Sounds

Our sounds catalog allows you to browse over one million sounds across all genres from the world’s best providers. Preview and download individual sounds, not just full packs, and drag them right into your DAW using our client app. We feature exclusive sounds made by the world’s top producers such as deadmau5, KSHMR, Medasin, and Lex Luger, while also hosting sounds from industry giants such as Loopmasters, CAPSUN ProAudio, and Sample Magic. Whether you’re looking for loops or one-shots, make inspiring music more easily than ever before.

Plugins

Search for and download paid and free top instruments and effects all in one place. Start Rent-to-Own with Serum, Ozone 8, and Neutron 2 to access fully authorized versions of the products and full tech support for $9.99 / month (or $14.99 / month for the Ozone 8 + Neutron 2 bundle).
